Kathryn McClintock is a sixth-generation Texan and founder of Poppy House Realty Group. Known for her marketing savvy, authentic communication style, and quiet tenacity, she helps clients navigate real estate decisions with clarity and confidence. A Georgetown resident, Kathryn brings deep local roots, a sharp eye for design, and a strategic mindset to every transaction.

Her client list is intentionally small, allowing her to give each buyer or seller the attention, discretion, and care they deserve.

Built on Family Values

As a wife and mother of two young boys, Kathryn leads her business with the same values she and her husband aim to instill at home: honesty, hospitality, and integrity. Her clients feel welcomed, supported, and understood, because for Kathryn, real estate is never just about the house. It’s about the people inside it.

From answering questions with transparency to anticipating what comes next, she works with quiet focus and intentional care at every step.

From Tech to Real Estate: A Strategic Shift

Before real estate, Kathryn spent 14 years working with leading companies including Express Scripts and Care.com. Her roles ranged from frontend development to technical product management, giving her a strong foundation in marketing, strategy, and technology.

Today, she brings that same strategic mindset—paired with a passion for home and the Georgetown community—to help clients make confident, informed decisions.

“I’d known for years I wanted to get my license,” she shares. “It just took some bravery to leave a thriving tech career. Real estate is the perfect fit. It lets me be creative, strategic, and build real relationships with people I care about.”

Beyond the Transaction

Kathryn is a trusted advisor who brings both polish and heart to every listing. She knows how to position a home for the market and how to walk alongside clients through major life transitions.

Outside of work, she’s most likely wrangling her boys (ages 5 and 7), making her morning Nespresso, baking sourdough, or enjoying the occasional dinner out with her husband, Andrew. She believes in the power of first impressions, the beauty of a well-designed space, and the value of getting the details just right.
